BASE MIX
The base mix can be a stand alone recipe and simply take away the bitterness of Cacao that some people are not used to. It can also be used as a base to then add additional ingredients to your individual taste. Spices such as cayenne pepper, chilli and ginger can add a special zing to your cacao. Or sweeter ingredients such as cinnamon or coconut sugar can be used for those with a sweeter tooth.
INGREDIENTS:
15-20g of Cacao chopped up
1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup
1/2 cup of water1/2 cup of plant milk
METHOD:
Add your chopped up Cacao and a small amount of your liquid to a pan and start to heat gently on the stove. Whisk into a paste and gently stir in the rest of your ingredients. Don’t let the mixture boil. Serve in your favourite cup or mug. Please
Note: Cacao is fatal to dogs.
